Snickerdoodle's origins are a mystery. After the six kittens from Torti and Brownie were rescued and socialized, the mothers just disappeared. However, two more cats appeared, Abby and Gabby. Since their size and coloring is similar, I assume they are sisters. Shortly after their first appearance, a little white and brown tabby kitten also came up to eat. It is possible that one of the girls was his mother, but I suspect he was a drop-off. Either way, we decided to try to trap him, and add him to the growing herd. What's one more???

Snickierdoodle is indeed a beautiful cat. If you look at your face, the brown coloring wraps around his eyes, making it look like he has permanent teardrops. Snickerdoodle is also our biggest cat, weighing in at over 15 pounds. He is also the true image of a "scaredy cat". He hates the vacuum cleaner and hides at the bottom of the stairwell, at the garage door until I'm finished. Snickerdoodle is not a people kitty. He really doesn't like to be touched and will duck and run if approached. I can, however, pet and even comb him if he is half-asleep by the window. But woe to anyone who picks him up. He will pee on you, so be prepared with lots of towels.
